Hello Magpie Family, I spent last weekend in the Mayan jungle, three days immersed in connection with twelve people from different backgrounds and cultures, all gathered to plan healing retreats at the serene Kaaba Luum. We never spoke of politics. We never checked our phones. We spoke only of how to care for ourselves and others. We moved through yoga, shared meals, and reflected on the gift of a pause—the rare opportunity to step away from the noise and focus on what truly matters. The world will not slow down for us. Division and uncertainty are ever-present. But in moments like these, I’m reminded: we can choose where we put our energy.
