In a climate that seems to be headed towards dystopia, Salt & Shadow have captured the times with a sound that is as haunting as it is hypnotic. The band is led by two female vocalists, Lindsey Jacobsen and Sophia Writesel. Their powerhouse vocals and soaring harmonies seduce the crowd like the songs of sirens. The music is a fusion of folk and rock, with acoustic and electric elements. Lindsey plays acoustic guitar and ukulele and Sophia plays her cello. Chris Reeves creates an atmosphere of paranoia, weaving an orchestra of sound with his electric guitar and pedal board. Bryce Clifton brings the driving bass line and Clint Gramza conducts the swells of emotion on his drum set. With a message of empowerment in the face of tyranny, this band is a spiritual expression of every member, and a magnetic experience for their audience. They've dubbed it Dystopian Folk Rock.
